he 3T series from van den Hul is the result of significant investment in time and research in order to produce a revolutionary design of conductor for audio cables. The first prototype was unveiled at the Hong Kong AV show in 2010 to critical acclaim. The original specifications aimed for with the 3T technology were aimed at producing a robust, chemically near-inert cable with superb sonic characteristics and an extremely long life. Those aims were all met.
The Hill hybrid is similar to The Rock, but employs enlarged dimensions, reducing the capacitive load. The Hill features both two centre core conductors and shielding made of 3T conductors. The two centre conductors consist each of a single 500 micron 3T conductor coated with a L.S.C. layer to improve the sonic quality further.
The Rock is a fully balanced design, and is available terminated with high-quality C-8.4 rhodium-plated RCA connectors or black-finish, silver-plated Neutrik XLRs.
